Initially created as part of the show ‘Invitation Without Exhibition’ at the galerie Martine Aboucaya in Paris, this first performance consisted in burying the artworks Andre Cadere by Judith Deschamps, Ettouffement(s) by Marianne Mispelaere, La Metamorphose by Claire Morel, From a Bridge by David Horvitz, La Disparition by Angela Detanico & Rafael Lain.
It is built in 3 steps:
The creation of a certificate, attesting the disappearance of the artwork.
The burial of the artwork in the floor of the galerie.
The conservation of a fragment of the artwork in an urn, mentioning its date of creation and disappearance.
