Back to the Present

This performance transformed the present moment into an archive, a past event.

The artist played the role of a speaker in a public meeting who interviewed the artist Judith Deschamps 50 years from now, in order to explain the performance she gave in 2014, and which was no other than the one the public was currently living.

Thought as a true voyage into the present moment, walking the line between metafiction and science fiction, the performance observed our present time. It was the attempt to understand our relationship with digital technologies and the way in which the virtual is enmeshed with reality.
