Back to the Present

This performance transforms the present moment into an archive, a thing of the past.

I play the role of a speaker in a public meeting who interviews the artist Judith Deschamps 50 years from now, in order to explain the performance she gave in 2014, and which is no other than the one we are currently living.

Thought as a true voyage into the present moment, walking the line between metafiction and science fiction, the performance observes our present time. It attempts to understand our relationship with digital technologies today and the way in which the virtual is enmeshed with reality.
